Cavinona Inc. (the “Company” and/or “Wine Agent” and/or “Manufacturer Representative”) is a wine agent carrying on business in the province of Ontario and is prohibited by law from shipping wine outside our provincial border. The Company holds a license through the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (the "AGCO") in order tos represent each of the producers depicted on our websites. We offer for sale, and deliver wine to you, purchased through a membership based program, and a Consignment Warehouse Program operated by the Private Ordering Department of the Liquor Control Board of Ontario "LCBO", and we or our affiliates are authorized by the LCBO to facilitate the sale of beverage alcohol on their behalf. LCBO Guidelines define our role and the LCBO´s expectations. As a Manufacturer Representative or agent, we do not "sell" wine. Rather, the LCBO regards you to be its customer. We are the intermediary which processes the sale of wine from the LCBO to you. "Processes" means that we represent our manufacturers and assist in the transaction of your purchase from the LCBO. In some cases, information is requested by the LCBO from us for the submission of orders and the LCBO is bound by the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, as is the License to Represent a Manufacturer. Should you ever feel the LCBO has used this information for purposes other than the completion of a sale, please notify the License to Represent a Manufacturer. In particular, if you are contracted by the LCBO with questions about your purchase history, you are under no obligation to respond and we ask that you notify us immediately. The wine prices shown on the website are inclusive of the LCBO sale price, agency fee and bottle deposit, but may not always include in some cases delivery fees, HST or any other applicable taxes as deemed lawful by the province. All wine is held by the LCBO until your order is placed. Wine is not available directly from the Wine Agent nor does the Wine Agent have any liquor on its premises.

You must be 19 years of age or older to place or receive a beverage alcohol order. The Wine Agent makes every effort to ensure that alcoholic beverages are not delivered to anyone who is under the age of 19. By using the website and registering for a purchase or membership you are acknowledging that the person receiving a shipment of alcoholic beverages from the Wine Agent is 19 years in age or more. If you do not agree with these conditions of use you are prohibited from using this website. If you intentionally or unintentionally misrepresent your age in order to provide alcohol to a person under the age of 19, the Wine Agent will report the infraction to the Alcohol and Gaming COmission of Ontario (AGCO) which may prosecute you fully to the extent allowable by law. At the time of delivery, proof of age may be required at the discretion of the delivery agent. The delivery agent will not complete the delivery to any person who appears to be intoxicated.
